Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant provides turndown service for guest rooms, ensuring a clean and refreshed environment for our guests. This role involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, as well as performing other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's scheduling requirements.
  • Adhere to high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality's standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Provide turndown service to assigned guest rooms and suites.
  • Clean and refresh guest rooms as needed.
  • Restock guest rooms with required supplies.
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties, including setting up housekeeping carts and removing trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  • Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Handle lost and found items according to Aimbridge Hospitality's procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
