Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager Trainee role is designed for individuals eager to step into leadership positions within our organization. This full-time position focuses on enhancing your ability to provide an exceptional experience for both customers and employees. You will work closely with the General Manager to cultivate a top-tier team for our retail operations through effective recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.

As an Assistant Store Manager Trainee, you will take charge of shifts, exemplifying superior customer service while also focusing on your personal and professional growth. You will be a pivotal figure in the business, responsible for guiding and mentoring team members while mastering the daily operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a full-time presence with flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Support the General Manager in developing the business strategy for the store, including sales objectives, budget management, and inventory control.
  • Engage in staffing processes to ensure optimal team levels while aiding in the training and development of each team member.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and aligns with their career aspirations.
  • Guide the team in adhering to all store policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with financial protocols by following established systems and procedures.
  • Gain insights into financial reporting requirements, including sales tracking and payroll analysis.
  • Oversee the accuracy and organization of inventory procurement and storage.
  • Implement and manage in-store marketing initiatives and assist with local promotional activities.
  • Coordinate daily operations to uphold store standards, including cleanliness, customer service, and merchandising.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ensure team members are trained on equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Promote a culture of performance and development within the team.
  • Engage in community service initiatives and represent the store in local events.
