Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Pediatric School-Based Team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping children with speech and language deficits reach their maximum performance potential within an educational model of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language deficits.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' need for speech therapy services.
  • Participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process to develop present levels of performance, goals, and objectives for students qualifying for speech therapy services.
  • Provide speech therapy sessions using current best practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current license to practice in the state of Illinois or a valid type 10 or eligibility for licensure through completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.
