Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Pediatric School-Based Team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments and therapeutic treatments to pediatric students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to address students' speech and language deficits.
  • Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine students' need for services or dismissal from services.
  • Participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process to develop present levels of performance, goals, and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for speech therapy services.
  • Provide speech therapy sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP.
  • Maintain all documentation required by the district and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA) code of ethics.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by ASHA.
  • Must hold a current license to practice in the state or be eligible for licensure through completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
