Job Title: Project Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our team at McShane Construction Company. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze working drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans, to ensure buildability, identify potential conflicts, and confirm material and subcontractor criteria.
  • Maintain and manage the jobsite, including trailer, signage, material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility access, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety measures and applicable company programs to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and a safe workplace.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, focusing on identifying critical paths to meet desired schedules and conducting periodic project inspections to address owner concerns.
  • Monitor project labor productivity and budget deviations, providing regular updates to the company.
  • Review and coordinate project construction documents, including shop drawings and punchlists, to ensure quality assurance and timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Design/build experience and knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods preferred.
  • College education and strong leadership/management skills, with a proven record of building on schedule.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, and work productively with others to foster solid client relationships.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
  • Ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
