We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Farmer Boys Lodi-1088. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting meals in a consistent and efficient manner, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare meals according to our cooking specifications and customer requests
- Ensure correct portioning, sizing, packaging, plate presentation, wrapping, freshness, and speed of service
- Follow food preparation sheets to ensure appropriate stock levels and provide feedback to management
- Operate, clean, and sharpen all appropriate food preparation equipment
- Report all spoilage and poor quality products to the manager immediately
- Communicate with cashiers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring correct order fulfillment
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of required work areas as directed by the Manager in Charge
- Minimum age requirement is 18
- 0 – 3 years of cook or preparation cook or a combination of the 2
- Ability to take direction, read, and comprehend written instructions
- Must be able to present State or County mandated Food Handler Card within the time allowed by local governments
- Physical requirements include standing (up to 4 hours at a time), walking, bending, and stooping
The Line Cook will be working in a kitchen environment with higher ambient air temperatures than normal. The use of solvents and industrial degreasers are required regularly to clean equipment, tools, and floors.
