Job Summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing precision assembly tasks across various product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Subassembly: Perform precision subassembly and system-level manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality defect-free assemblies.
  • Production Tracking: Accurately enter information into the production Travelers/Routers, which are part of our shop floor control system.
  • Quality Control: Work and follow detailed Assembly Instructions to produce high-quality defect-free assemblies.
  • ESD Environment: Follow and work within an ESD production environment and guidelines.
  • Safety and Attendance: Follow all safety practices and procedures, and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality practices.
  • Production Support: Assist with Production Control/kitting activities during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Manufacturing Operations/Mechanical Assembly/Class 3 soldering a plus.
  • Skills: Must be able to work with Assembly Drawings, Parts Lists, and Military Specifications. Must be able to enter data into a Manufacturing Shop Floor Control System.
  • Communication: Must be able to follow supervision and interact well with others.
  • Language: Must be able to read and follow assembly instructions in English in order to consistently produce high-quality defect-free class 3 hardware.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to work to J-STD-001E and IPC-610E specifications. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cables and wires (per IPC-620) a plus.
