  • Supervising all tasks related to concrete preparation, pouring, installation, finishing, and curing processes.
  • Breaking down concrete construction projects into distinct phases and assessing the labor and material requirements for each phase.
  • Addressing any issues that may impact the quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Reviewing blueprints, schematics, and plans to guarantee precise placement and installation of concrete structures.
  • Assigning tasks to concrete laborers while providing overall direction and support.
  • Keeping accurate records of hours worked and materials utilized for each project.
  • Ensuring that formwork and shoring are constructed, supported, and dismantled according to engineering specifications.
  • Evaluating concrete after formwork removal and guiding laborers on rectifying any defects or surface irregularities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A degree in Construction Management or Construction Science is a plus.
  • Preferred certification from the American Institute of Constructors or the Construction Management Association of America.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within concrete construction.
  • Possession of a commercial driver's license.
  • Familiarity with estimation software.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and plans effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
