Job Title: Simulated Brigade Combat Team Operations Specialist

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulated Brigade Combat Team Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Scenario Development Branch, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of simulated Brigade Combat Team operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Replicate the maneuver operations staff officer (S3) of a simulated US Army Brigade Combat Team.
  • Conduct close coordination with the simulated US Army Brigade Combat Team's Commander, Plans and Exercise Maneuver Control (P/EMC) Chief, and Operations Planners to synchronize and replicate the unit's tactical operations with 21 ABN Division or JTF-21 tactical operations.
  • Develop simulated Brigade Combat Team scenario deliverables in-support-of (ISO) 21 ABN or JTF-21 battle rhythm events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • US Army combat arms (primarily maneuver) qualified Officer; MAJ (04) or above; graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) / Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or sister service equivalent (MEL IV qualified).
  • BA or BS from an accredited US institution of higher learning.
  • Direct maneuver operations staff officer (S3/G3/J3) experience at the US Army Brigade Combat Team or higher Joint Task Force (JTF) levels.
  • Must be capable of planning, coordinating, synchronizing, and executing Brigade Combat Team tactical operations ISO 21 ABN or higher level JTF combat operations.
  • Possess a working proficiency, as a Brigade Combat Team or higher JTF unit's maneuver operations staff officer (S3/G3/J3), operating within the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) or an equivalent battlefield simulation environment.
  • Must be capable of planning, developing, articulating (written and verbal), and executing Brigade Combat Team combined arms/maneuver operations concepts.
  • Possess a mastery of current US Army and Joint operations doctrine; primarily the 1, 3, 5, and 6 series.
  • Possess a working knowledge and demonstrate the ability to achieve proficiency with Command Post of the Future (CPOF) and Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE).
  • Possess a working knowledge and demonstrate the ability to achieve proficiency with hand-held radio systems (Harris XL-200P (P25) or equivalent).
  • Possess a working knowledge and demonstrate the ability to achieve proficiency with tactical Frequency Modulation (FM) radio systems (Single-Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) or equivalent).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • May be required to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid SECRET clearance.
  • Individual must be adaptive, flexible, imaginative; able to work effectively in a time-constrained and dynamically changing environment.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure scenario consistency and fidelity.
  • Must be able to effectively and independently research, develop, organize, and communicate diverse military operations concepts.
  • Possess a mastery of US Army Warning Order (WARNORD), Fragmentary Order (FRAGORD), and Operations Order (OPORD) content and composition.
  • Must possess an understanding of commonly used US military acronyms and terminology.
  • Must be able to work non-standard schedules that include extended hours and/or weekends based on mission requirements.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Recent operations experience as a deployed maneuver operations staff officer (S3/G3/J3), US Army Brigade Combat Team or higher level JTF operating in the USINDOPACOM, USCENTCOM, or USAREUR-AF theater within the past 5 years.
  • Previous CTC operations exercise design or CTC Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T) experience as a Maneuver Task Force maneuver operations staff officer (S3) or as the Maneuver Brigade C2 (BC2) maneuver operations staff officer (S3).
