The estimated annual salary for this position in New York City is $230,000 - $262,500, while in San Francisco, it ranges from $243,700 - $278,100.

Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our Applied Researcher I role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to develop AI-powered products that change how customers interact with their money.

">

You will leverage a broad stack of technologies, including PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, Lightning, VectorDBs, and more, to reveal insights hidden within huge volumes of numeric and textual data.

">

Key responsibilities include building AI foundation models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation, as well as engaging in high-impact applied research to push the latest AI developments into the next generation of customer experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you should have a PhD or M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

">

A strong background in deep learning methodologies, experience developing AI foundation models, and expertise in one or more areas such as training optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, RLHF are essential.

">

You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, leadership abilities, and a track record of delivering models at scale.
