We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Seven Counties Services. As a Psychiatric Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to our nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to LPNs, RNs, Charge Nurses, and non-licensed nursing staff
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of nursing staff
- Function as a liaison with educational institutions to coordinate student tours and practicum placement
- Develop and implement nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of our patient population
- Provide counseling interventions, including communication and interviewing techniques, problem-solving activities, crisis intervention, stress management, and conflict resolution
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
