Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cashier/Host to join our team at IP Casino Resort Spa. As a Cashier/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greets and escorts guests to their table, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Accepts payments from restaurant guests using a computerized cash register and maintains an accurate bank.
- Circulates through the restaurant, coordinating activities of service personnel to provide fast and courteous service to customers.
- Assigns bus person and food server breaks, ensuring efficient service.
- Inspects and monitors the cleanliness of the room and compliance with safety and health code regulations.
- Resolves customer complaints, referring to the restaurant manager as needed.
- Maintains records of the number of guests served during the shift, employee absences, or problems with equipment or food service.
- Operates a computerized cash register to itemize and process guest checks in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cashier/host is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods during a shift.
- Ability to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
