Certification Requirements
  • AHA Certification: Only Instructor or Provider certifications are accepted; RQI is also acceptable.
  • Traveler Requirement: Mandatory for all traveling professionals, with the exception of Histology Technologists.
  • Certification Renewal: Candidates whose certifications are set to expire within 30 days of commencement must renew prior to starting.
Position Overview
  • Work Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts, with on-call duties starting from the end of the shift until 7 AM the following morning.
  • Call Duty: Approximately 14 shifts within a six-week period, specifics can be discussed during the interview process.
Job Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the field is required.
  • Licensing: Must possess an ARRT(R) radiology license.
  • State License: Ohio license is required and must be obtained prior to employment.
  • BLS and ACLS: Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Procedure Experience: Must have experience in scrubbing all interventional catheterization lab procedures as orientation will be brief.
Schedule Details
  • Shift Structure: 4-10 hour shifts with on-call responsibilities.
  • Shift Frequency: Roughly 14 shifts over a six-week timeframe.
Unit-Specific Information
  • Competency Exam: A unit-specific competency examination is required within the first year of employment and must be updated annually.
Additional Information
  • ID Requirement: A government-issued photo identification is necessary and must be carried during assignments.
  • Subcontractor Documentation: For subcontractors, either a signed Lotus HIPAA form (preferred) or Core Testing documentation is acceptable.
  • Technical Requirements: It is essential to use Chrome on a computer for completing online modules; mobile devices are not supported.
