About the Role

Action Awning LLC is a family-oriented and growing company seeking an experienced individual to fill a key position as a Lead Installation / Site Supervisor.


Job Overview

This role will involve collaborating with the project manager and owner to construct and install various shade products. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, including installation and construction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support project managers and owners by providing updates on project timelines and informing them of issues or concerns.
  • Work with a team of crew members by providing instruction and direction during project installations.
  • Determine the necessary materials and supplies for each step of the job and generate accurate lists of required items.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders safely for installing structures above ground levels.
  • Understand specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine dimensions and materials required.
  • Solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
  • Have a thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft suites is essential.
  • Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of professional carpentry experience is required.
  • A strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction, is necessary.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety and the ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation are required.
