Job Responsibilities

As a Relief Veterinarian with Vetco Clinics, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality veterinary care to pets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Working closely with trained staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.

Requirements
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license in good standing.
  • The ability to perform blood draws and administer vaccines, as well as comply with all relevant state-specific licensing requirements.
  • DEA registration in good standing (preferable for full-service hospital relief shifts).
  • A Certification of Insurance (COI) and license defense policy.
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $100-$150 per hour, depending on the location and duration of selected shifts.
