Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Construction Manager to join our team at Career Servant LLC. This is a direct hire opportunity within the construction industry, offering a competitive salary range of $160,000-$200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong project management expertise, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents, project blueprints, and construction schematics. They should also have a proven track record of ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while consistently meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations, and procurement strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Construction Oversight: Coordinate and oversee construction activities to guarantee adherence to project schedules and specifications, prioritizing safety and quality.
  • Contractor Management: Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness to secure the best possible results for the company.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project status to stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements, maintaining a secure working environment and adhering to local building codes.
  • Documentation Management: Manage construction project documentation, contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients, addressing challenges and concerns to meet project objectives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones, budget updates, and significant developments or risks, enabling informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-10 years of experience managing projects, ideally within the electrical construction sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in construction principles and practices.
  • Certifications: Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous, as is completion of OSHA 30-hour and CPR training, showcasing a commitment to safety and professionalism.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership capabilities to inspire project teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
    • Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
    • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
    • Risk management and budget management acumen.
    • Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
    • Financial understanding related to project budgeting and cost control.
  • Experience in Data Centers: Previous experience working in data center environments is beneficial, but not essential.
