Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Lane Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team. As a key member of the manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing preventative and reactive maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain up to 480v 3 phase electrical systems.
  • Create work orders and direct preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
  • Install wiring and run conduit.
  • Order parts and maintain spare parts inventory.
  • Create and maintain an inspection program for equipment.
  • Test existing equipment and determine if components need to be upgraded or replaced.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
  • Repair equipment to maintain maximum production rates.
  • Ensure equipment is kept in a proper and safe working condition.
  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
  • Maintain facility housekeeping.
Requirements:
  • Basic industrial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic skills, including troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret and read electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems, 3 phase motors and control circuits, Chillers, cooling towers, and pump skids, PLC programming and troubleshooting, Natural Gas Burner, and Basic welding skills.
Education and Experience:
  • High School, Vocational or Technical school Diploma, GED or equivalent education preferred.
  • Electrical certification a plus.
  • Previous Maintenance/Electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, and may occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, and extreme noise.
  • Ability to work at varied heights and climb ladders.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools and related equipment; vision to read printed materials; color vision to identify electrical wires and pipes; finger dexterity to operate tools and equipment; ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work and inspect work sites; ability to lift, move, and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds and heavier weights with proper equipment.
