Job Summary

Pactiv Evergreen - North America is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician - Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and machines.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and machines.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Comply with facility safety requirements, including wearing required PPE and following all safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum High School diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance.
  • Proficient at reading/interpreting blueprints and schematics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Basic understanding, troubleshooting, and experience with Electrical Systems (AC circuits-motors and drives, DC circuits-motors and drives, 480 Volts 3 phase, transformers, control power, relays).
  • Basic understanding, troubleshooting, and experience with Electronic Systems (controls, ladder logic, PLC programming, C programming A+).
  • Ability to stand 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment as required.
  • Able and willing to work rotating shift, overtime, and occasional weekends.
