Job Overview

As a Registered Dietitian, you'll be responsible for assessing the nutritional status and dietary needs of AltaMed participants. You'll plan for the provision of adequate dietary intake to achieve their optimal level of independent functioning.

You'll provide necessary consultation and teaching to participants, families, and the Interdisciplinary team. You'll perform professional work in the application of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to meet participants' daily nutritional and special dietary needs according to AltaMed standards.

You'll review menus and other essential components in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to ensure program compliance.

Requirements
  1. Registered Dietitian. Registered by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.
  2. A minimum of one (1) year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as Registered Dietitian. (Preferred)
  3. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the frail elderly.
  4. Current BLS certification also required.
  5. Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
Compensation

$74,984.00 - $93,730.00 annually

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure, and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.

This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
