Paramedic - Ambulance Services

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Ambulance Services team in the Midlands region. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for assessing, transporting, and administering medical treatment to patients in accordance with department and system policies.
Key Responsibilities- Verify the operational readiness of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of MCAS vehicles
- Respond promptly to calls received from the dispatch center
- Operate MCAS vehicles in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner
- Assess, monitor, transport, and provide necessary medical treatment
- Prepare written documentation in a complete, timely, and accurate manner
- Function at a high level of efficiency
- Demonstrate skill proficiency on an annual basis
- Maintain professional certifications by attending in-service training programs
- Attend staff meetings and comply with employee health requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Paramedic training program
- SC Paramedic Certification
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable five-year motor vehicle record
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- PHTLS certification
- Experience with patient equipment and cardiac monitors
- One year of pre-hospital care experience
