**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly skilled Complex Lens Design Specialist to join our team at Corning Incorporated. As a Complex Lens Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex lens assemblies and reflective systems from concept to final form for manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optics and experience with design software such as CodeV, Oslo, or Zemax. You will work closely with our system metrology engineers to develop test and optimization strategies and collaborate with our manufacturing team to ensure smooth production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop complex lens assemblies and reflective systems from concept to final form for manufacturing
  • Develop fabrication production strategies for multi-element lens systems
  • Collaborate with system metrology engineers to develop test and optimization strategies
  • Provide optical design support to the manufacturing team

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optics or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in optical design engineering
  • Expert user of commercially available optical design analysis software
