Position Overview

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our patients through specialized rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in alignment with physician directives and established care plans.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust strategies to meet rehabilitation objectives.
  • Coordinate discharge planning by engaging with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program development within the department.
  • Assist in budgetary considerations to enhance service delivery and program efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
    • A bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
    • Possession or eligibility for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state.
    • Valid Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
