Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations.
  • Deliver care aligned with physician directives and established care plans.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions to meet rehabilitation objectives.
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning and communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Engage in performance enhancement and program development initiatives.
  • Contribute to budgetary considerations, ensuring the cost-effectiveness of departmental services and programs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Possession or eligibility for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
