Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Scheduler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating detailed program plans and schedules, managing multiple program schedules of high complexity, and monitoring team performance against schedule goals for a large and complex set of work packages for major programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Integrated Master Plans (IMP) according to customer requirements and published standards.
  • Develop schedules as part of a proposal team on major efforts that contribute to the success of company strategy.
  • Assist in setting the Performance Management Baseline (PMB) and leading the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).
  • Work as a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to assist the Program Manager in driving accountability toward achieving the cost, schedule, and scope baseline.
  • Evaluate status and report problem areas to the project team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely metrics associated with team performance against the plan.
  • Perform critical path analysis over the duration of the programs.
  • Complete and mentor others in the development of program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Control Accounts, work packages, planning packages, and associated dictionaries.
  • Review and evaluate current scheduling methodology on a continual basis.
  • Perform special projects and studies as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, Software, or related discipline with 6-9 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge in a project-oriented/engineering environment, preferably in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling or leading the schedule completion and variance analysis of multiple large/complex programs.
  • Subject matter expert in Earned Value in accordance with EIA 748 standards.
  • Experience with customer relationships and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with software tools Microsoft Project and Cobra.
