Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams to provide medication education and support, and to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards for medication use and safety.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address medication-related issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to healthcare staff on medication-related topics and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state(s) where practicing.
  • Certifications: Board certification in pharmacotherapy or a related field (e.g., BCPS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., pharmacy administration, public health).
  • Specialized Training: Completion of a pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience.
