Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating cyber threats to our customers' networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Correlate incident data to identify trends and patterns in reported incidents
  • Recommend defense-in-depth principles and practices to enhance security
  • Perform incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact
  • Research and compile known resolution steps to mitigate potential incidents
  • Apply knowledge of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures to identify and validate threats
  • Monitor external data sources to maintain currency of threat condition and identify potential security issues
  • Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • DHS Suitability
  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
  • Knowledge of NIST and FISMA standards
  • Knowledge of the NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of system administration and operating system hardening techniques
  • Knowledge of Computer Network Defense policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Knowledge of different operational threat environments
Education

BS in Operations Management, Cybersecurity, or related field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level education.

Nightwing offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000, as well as benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
