Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure timely interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiac care.

Qualifications:

  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
