Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Catholic Health Services. As a CNA, you will provide direct patient care while maintaining patient comfort and safety under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, and weight.
  • Perform and assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living (ADLs) and document as needed.
  • Pass out nourishments and water as scheduled or as requested.
  • Communicate any changes in patient condition to the nurse during each shift.
  • Answer call lights within an established timeframe.
  • Maintain patient safety at all times.
Requirements
  • Clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant certification to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Medication Administration Training (6 hours) for Assisted Living Facility (ALF) if applicable.
  • CPR certification.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
