Game Lands Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Game Lands Maintenance Worker to join our team at the Pennsylvania Game Commission. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing semi-skilled duties and assisting with various tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more.

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on game lands infrastructure, including bridges, roads, and parking areas.
• Assist with the construction of new game lands features, such as gates and signs.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including construction tools and vehicles.
• Assist with habitat management tasks, including mowing, pruning, and releasing of fruit and nut trees, shrubs, and vines for wildlife food enhancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment, or one year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment, or one year of construction equipment operation experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment.
