Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team at the Cleveland Clinic Health System. This training position will provide practical experience in a research setting, working under the direct supervision of a Cleveland Clinic Principal Investigator. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to research, a collaborative work ethic, and strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct independent research projects aimed at data generation, analysis, interpretation, and manuscript preparation.
  • Collaborate on translational projects, particularly those involving fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) and urine microbiota transplant (UMT).
  • Integrate multi-omics approaches, flow cytometry data, and histological findings to advance our understanding of microbiome-related diseases.
Requirements
  • PhD or MD/PhD required; MD with relevant laboratory experience may substitute for PhD.
  • Previous experience in a research or academic setting, including graduate student experience.
  • Scientific writing experience and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with microbiome research, including microbiota analysis and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of flow cytometry and histological techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic research environment, collaborating with a team of scientists and clinicians to advance our understanding of microbiome-related diseases.
