About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team at Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of commercial properties, including conduit installation, lighting installation, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of commercial properties, including conduit installation, lighting installation, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills during day-to-day operations.
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
  • Work with team members on the training of apprentices.
Requirements
  • Preferred Qualification - Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Commercial Service or Industrial Service Electrician.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems, and equipment.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess a passion for helping others and present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times.
