We are currently expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Electrical Service Estimator to join our commercial service division.

Your Role:

As an Electrical Service Estimator, you will:

  • Perform manual calculations for various data quantity take-offs to input into our estimating software.
  • Identify and engage qualified suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Organize and prepare bid package estimate documents for service repairs and small project work.
  • Maintain comprehensive files of working documents to support estimating figures.
  • Distribute bidding documents to vendors as necessary for pricing.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with customers, including outreach to new clients.
  • Order materials and manage delivery schedules for projects.
  • Provide on-site support to crews executing the work you have estimated.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at the Journeyman Electrician level; experience as a lead service technician, foreman, or electrical construction superintendent is advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to read and interpret architectural construction documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all levels of staff, management, vendors, and clients.
  • A high degree of initiative and effective time management abilities.
  • Preferred experience in the electrical trade or commercial construction.
