Mammography Technologist

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic clinical procedures with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Follow established radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
- Manage the routine use and quality control requirements of the equipment.
- Provide appropriate patient care and demonstrate professional practice standards.
- Lead in maintaining MQSA standards and participate in on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Active work toward registry and licensure in Mammography and Bone Densitometry as required by MQSA and the ND state NDMIRT.
- Radiography skills and clinical experience obtained in School of Radiologic Technology.
- Data entry and analysis skills, computer skills, and ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment.
- Registered Radiologic/Mammography/Bone Densitometry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and the ND state NDMIRT.
- One year experience as a Mammography Technologist, Bone Densitometry experience, and prior Epic experience.
