Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Company Vehicle: Safely operate a company step van in designated areas to provide products and services to a variety of clients.
  • Verify Daily Preventative Maintenance: Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Manage Daily Route: Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Load/Unload Product: Load and unload products per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review Invoices: Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet Sales Goals: Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Develop Leads/Prospects: Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Assist Sales Organization: Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
  • Communicate Services: Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor Customer Feedback: Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Personal Safety: Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Driver's License: Have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Selling Experience: Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
  • Customer Service and Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working Environment/Safety Requirements
  • Weather Conditions: Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on geographical location.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Fast-paced environment sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.
  • Occasional Lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
Education and License Requirements
  • High School Degree: High school degree or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
