Marine Preservation Specialist

As a Marine Preservation Specialist at International Marine and Industrial Applicators, LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in marine surface preparation and painting. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our customers' vessels, adhering to Navy regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customer QA personnel to ensure seamless execution of preservation projects
Develop and maintain Test and Inspection Plans (TIPs) for assigned jobs
Monitor and document quality control/assurance requirements, including metal anchor tooth profiles, paint wet/dry film thickness, and environmental readings
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
NACE Inspector and/or SSPC NBPI certification
Formal or informal on-the-job training in the marine industry
Familiarity with Navy and Society for Protective Coatings standards
