Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Urology Technician to join our team at UCHealth. As a Urology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our urology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and vital signs, and explain procedures to patients
  • Document care and communicate findings with RNs and physicians
  • Assist with urologic radiographic and ultrasound examinations, cystoscopies, and UDS studies
  • Perform urinary catheter insertions and removals, laboratory duties, and simple dressing changes
  • Communicate prescription refill requests to physicians and administer medications and injections per practice-specific guidelines
  • Clean and restock rooms, supplies, and equipment, and transport patients
Requirements
  • Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
  • Minimum Required Education: Completion of a Medical Assistant program through an accredited school or documentation of a medical program that meets the criteria of a medical assistant program
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of healthcare-related experience
