Director Opportunity in Maternal Fetal Medicine
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Director to lead our growing team in Central Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity that combines clinical practice and academic leadership, including teaching opportunities within our established MFM fellowship program.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience in invasive MFM procedures and ultrasound experience. They will be responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives, overseeing quality measures, patient experience, and outcomes for the MFM program. The successful candidate will also collaborate with Women's Health Service Line leadership to achieve system-wide goals and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Women's Health Service Line leadership to achieve system-wide goals and initiatives.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in MFM services.
- Oversee quality measures, patient experience, and outcomes for the MFM program.
- Act as a liaison between the MFM service and other clinical departments.
- Work with nursing and other areas of the health system to meet goals and ensure system integration.
- Lead efforts to improve department productivity and financial performance.
- Provide academic leadership in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Experience in invasive MFM procedures required.
- Ultrasound experience highly recommended.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
- Ability to work within a collaborative, team-based approach while maintaining personalized care and clinical excellence.
