Nursing Care Specialist

An opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care in a dynamic environment. As an RN Float at MEDSTAR HEALTH, you will have the chance to work across various patient care areas, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care from admission to discharge.
This role requires collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while adhering to safety standards and quality practices. You will be responsible for individualizing patient care plans, ensuring patient safety, and participating in professional development activities.
Job Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various care settings.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor patient progress, revise care plans as needed, and provide education to patients and families.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Current State licensure and/or Compact State licensure in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment, or multistate compact state or license eligible required.
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required.
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
