We are seeking a skilled Adult Care Specialist to join Unity Health Care in providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

About the Role

As an Adult Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and managing chronic conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of adult patients, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as an Adult Care Specialist.
  • Current state license as an Adult Care Specialist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Adult Care Specialist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
