Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Steward to join our team at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. As a key member of our stewarding team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the stewarding team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional presentation
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing waste
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures to drive business growth and excellence
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hospitality or culinary environment
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., hospitality, culinary arts, business administration)
  • Advanced knowledge of stewarding operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and equipment maintenance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
