Compensation: $95,000.00

Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two to five years of relevant experience is required.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is essential.
  • Passing the PE exam is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer II will engage in a variety of tasks that enhance familiarity with engineering practices and methodologies. Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the development of plans, specifications, and inspection reports.
  • Assisting in the preparation of material lists and labor contracts.
  • Contributing to the design and construction of Solar/Wind Farms, Battery Storage, substations, and utility interconnections, including AC/DC and various voltage systems.
  • Overseeing basic administration of material procurement and construction contracts.
  • Providing guidance to designers and CAD operators within the assigned team.
  • Engaging in limited customer and vendor interactions.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in specific areas of renewable energy and/or substation engineering, such as physical layout design, protection/control/SCADA design, relay settings programming, field support, commissioning, and relay testing.
  • Supervising and assisting in the training of Project Engineers I.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for various tasks.
  • Interfacing effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

  • This position is not eligible for remote work.
  • We do not provide sponsorships or accept visa holders.
