Job Description

At Its A Dog's Life MI Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Play Yard Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a pack of dogs in the play yard, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Perform daily Greet & Treats evaluations, taking notes and providing feedback to management.
  • Document incidents, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the overall safety of the play yard.
  • Provide mental stimulation and exercise to dogs, actively participating in play activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years or older.
  • No allergies to dogs.
  • Able to hear, learn, and understand auditory behaviors from dogs.
  • Able to visually observe, interpret, and react appropriately to dog body language.
  • Able to work in a loud environment.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment.
  • Able to remain calm, under control, and organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Animal CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Non-slip shoes.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Weekend and holiday availability.
