We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Karman Space & Defense- Huntington Beach. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years' experience in aerospace systems quality engineering.
- Expert knowledge of GD&T, Statistical Process Control implementation, and AS9100 QMS.
- Experience in quantitative data analysis, measurement systems, and reporting methodologies.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or already possess DoD security clearance.
