Classification Management Specialist

We're seeking a motivated, career-oriented Classification Management Officer 3 (CMO 3) to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines, and ICD 710.
- Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution.
- Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge.
- Offer CM recommendations to senior customer leadership.
- Generate, track, coordinate, and respond to action items in a timely manner.
- Conduct classification reviews.
- Identify and assess sources for classification determinations.
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years of experience or Associates and 12 or more years of experience or Masters and 5 or more years of experience.
- Ability to handle complex security classification issues.
- Able to perform classification reviews.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena.
- Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and its implementing directive.
- Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance.
- Excellent writing, communication, and research skills.
- Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customers.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
