Job Overview

The Transportation Specialist is tasked with the essential duty of safely and efficiently transporting guests and staff using company vehicles. This role requires a commitment to reliability, courtesy, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive guest relations through friendly interactions.
  • Assist guests with their needs and inquiries.
  • Travel to designated pick-up locations to provide transportation to various approved destinations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all safety checks are completed.
  • Maintain effective communication with dispatchers and adhere to operational procedures.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations diligently.
  • Assist passengers with their luggage as needed.
  • Report any incidents, delays, or traffic violations promptly.
  • Advise passengers on safety protocols while onboard.
  • Adjust vehicle settings for passenger comfort, including heating and ventilation.
  • Support the loading and unloading of luggage.
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presentable at all times.
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate various vehicle types, including both automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be physically capable of standing or walking for the duration of the shift.

Compliance and Regulatory Duties:

In addition to the responsibilities outlined, each team member must adhere to the following compliance requirements:

  • Participate in mandatory training sessions provided by the company.
  • Obtain and maintain all necessary licenses.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are not permitted in restricted areas.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Be aware of programs addressing problem gaming.
  • Report any misconduct or violations observed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of driving experience is required.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred experience operating both standard and automatic vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform essential functions, including sitting, standing, walking, and handling various objects. The work environment may be moderately loud, and employees may need to navigate through various areas, including those with smoke exposure.
