Our client is a prominent General Contractor specializing in various sectors including Multi-family housing, Senior Living, Affordable Housing, Mixed-Use developments, Historical Renovation, Education, Healthcare, and Adaptive Re-use projects. They are recognized for managing some of the most significant and high-profile construction projects in the area. The company prioritizes the growth and success of its employees, providing ample opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers regarding daily construction operations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of critical materials and equipment.
- Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or productivity claims from subcontractors.
- Oversee work performance related to scheduling, logistics, quality assurance, and staffing levels.
- Document field issues affecting budget, quality, or timelines, and prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.
- Coordinate efforts among various trades to ensure smooth project operations and resolve any local issues.
- Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are obtained and maintained throughout the project duration.
- Assist in managing project budgets and general conditions.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents during installation.
- Foster a culture of trust and respect among team members while promoting their professional development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction.
- Strong understanding of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
- Experience in Residential or Multifamily stick frame construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with construction cost control and basic accounting practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong management and communication skills.
- Completion of OSHA 30-hour training is required.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members through challenging assignments.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Valid driver's license and insurance are necessary.
- Competitive salary with a bonus structure ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
