NICU Registered Nurse

The NICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and assuming accountability for patient care during their shift. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Life-saving education specific to specialty area.
- Certification in specialty encouraged.
- Varied shifts; 72hrs/2wks.
- Hourly range: $31.00 - $46.50.
