Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Office Associate Team Leader to join our team at H&R Block - Gulf Coast. As a key member of our retail office operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional client experiences and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Multi-Unit Team Leader in leading a single retail office during tax season, focusing on delivering high-quality client service and driving business growth.
  • Execute and hold tax office associates accountable to Service Standards execution and client service experience, escalating concerns to the Multi-Unit Team Leader and District General Manager as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional client service, resolving escalated concerns and ensuring clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved.
  • Lead daily activities to ensure tax office associates are scheduled and work is completed according to deadlines, with attention to quality standards, priorities, and overall goals.
  • Lead daily huddles and communicate essential information to office associates, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in customer service or a similar role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and manage day-to-day office operations, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to use MS Office, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, with a focus on continuous improvement and growth.

  • Experience supervising or managing people, with a focus on developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • History of delivering outstanding customer experiences, with a focus on driving business growth and improving client satisfaction.
