About the JobThe Public Health Nurse II, Psychiatric position is a critical role in our Behavioral Health team. As an on-call nurse, you will provide coverage for vacation, sick, and other staffing needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily and weekly medications, including injections, and providing education on medication management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting clients with daily and weekly medication needs
- Medication management, coordination, and education
- Administering long-acting IM medication
- Performing health assessments and screenings
- Coordinating and consulting with medical staff, PCPs, other team members, and community partners
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Two years of relevant experience
- Possession of an Oregon Registered Nurse license
- Dependable transportation and ability to drive throughout Deschutes County
