Role Overview: We are seeking a committed Winder to contribute to our operations. This role involves the meticulous rewinding of various types of electromechanical equipment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Rewinding different forms of electromechanical apparatus
  • Dismantling and stripping damaged or unserviceable equipment
  • Inspecting equipment for winding damage and electrical issues
  • Documenting all relevant data regarding electromagnetic characteristics and operational conditions
  • Preparing reusable components for rewinding and inspecting them for structural integrity
  • Testing rewound equipment in accordance with industry standards
Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
  • Experience in rewinding AC and DC motors
  • Familiarity with winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations
  • Strong comprehension of written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to follow safety and operational procedures
  • Experience operating machinery and hoists
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
